Farmer-Owned Since 1930
Farming cranberries is a proud tradition in this country that started for many families in the 1800s. Since then, generations of farmers have put their hearts into growing the amazing berries and conserving the ecosystems in which they grow.
In 1930 three of these passionate, independent cranberry growers came together to form one cooperative. Marcus Urann, John Makepeace, and Elizabeth Lee realized that by working together, they could better expand the superfruit's success and create deliciously innovative products with the fruit they loved. And we haven’t stopped expanding -- our cranberry family has grown over the last nine decades to 700+ farmer families!
